Put Plants On Your Plate! With Stacey Heiny

To continue on last episode’s theme of plant-based meal prep, we’re happy to have Stacey Heiny—a certified Holistic Nutritionist, Lifestyle Wellness Mentor and Founder of the Herban Farmacy—on the podcast to help you turn the concept of plant-based eating into practice!  In this episode, Stacey talks about her journey of healthy living that stems from her upbringing in the Midwest, understanding the mind-body connection, and awareness of animal agriculture’s harsh realities.  As a nutritionist, Stacey offers her take on why a plant-predominant diet remains the cornerstone for optimizing health and also addresses the common obstacles to healthier eating.  She then identifies the keys to a successful transition from the Standard American Diet filled with processed foods and animal products towards whole food plant-based nutrition.  And to dig deeper, Stacey specifically discusses how working with your mindset and setting up a healthier environment for yourself will help you to achieve your nutrition goals.  I hope our talk inspires you to transform those thoughts of plant-based eating into real sustainable action!
